65 on 88, we'll get there soon, but not without some bruising. The trees will pass slowly while we grow old, the dirt beneath the asphalt begging for a glimpse at the sun. Sprouting through the cracks she tastes the warmth on her skin I've dreamt of gas station bathroom stalls, defaced with animalistic truths. drunken scrawling of the eternal empty. just a few more hours and you see the sun (it burns just as bright as yesterday), will tomorrow be any different? Is this the final mile, can I let myself rest? forget what it means to feel peace, the battle between mind and body Eventually we all become what lies underneath. Eventually we all wither. eventually we become the bones and the teeth. Eventually we all become the ghosts in the sheets. Eventually we all disappear. feel 65 at 28

Daybreak again (for the trash) caught in a chain link fence how many road ragers are already late for work? the eyes of a feral mendicant glowing in the treeline a precipice between alarm clocks and gently resting nothingness i will be swallowed by vastness but i’ve already backed out the driveway enough to have carved a channel every burnt down house, smoldering do my angels witness with one thousand eyes? do my angels witness with one thousand eyes? daybreak again (i am just) another divorcee when the song stops, it starts again; i am weeping tell road kill to be kind when I am not around tell road kill to be kind when they inherit the earth

Granite fields, I’ve painted granite fields with pollyanna brush White bronze, etching on white bronze, a body around soul Like a lost bird searching for a bigger worm than the one in my mouth I’m writing this from the parking lot, avoiding my empty home With a heavier weight than the pillars beside me; alone, with a heavier weight than the pillars I want to be alone in the world not a fly on the wall, just nothing at all Alright sun, alright graves, and gravediggers. Rose bearers who must bind each other’s wounds, the golden thread that keeps us whole We are the bodies around souls, and the cities around those O’, come angel band reluctant prayers, hand in hand in hand in hand O’, take me away from dreams of your death I’ll call no immortal home O’, come angel band reluctant prayers, hand in hand in hand in hand O’, take me away from dreams of your death where you are not alone O’, hand in hand in hand in hand

Put it back together but ended up with a spare screw, works just as good you'll barely know the difference. Observe decay in real time. Seizing up with rust it seems. seizing up with rust… I don’t mind the sun sometimes and the ever present light. the shadows only know what we can't see. She sprouted antlers on a dew kissed morning, frolics in the sunrise to a song unheard. Tumultuous applause for her woodland ballet envelopes her like a rolling thunder. “I wish I could remember all the people I met; some of them probably died." the shriek echoes across the landscape, opening the sky again, the ringing never stops, it becomes too much and he says… “wake up.” Daybreak again for the trash, life's been droning on again. make a wish before the next time you say that it's your last dance. A man feeding birds at the park, apartment complex engulfed in flames, shimmer of street lights reflecting These too will fade Shimmer of street lights reflecting

I’ve run out of crosses for vampires. I’ve blocked the stage for impossible schemes. I’ve rattled the leaves off the trees but no one is coming to save me from mourning old lies. those that were spun so well. I wish I had spent these last years living instead of dreaming. Swaying in the rhythm of the moonlight. Dancing to the sound of the dew beads. Vulture moon, will you wait for me? Vulture moon, was it just a dream? Vulture moon, will you wait for me? I don't want forgiveness, i just want to rest.

Placing pennies on the grave of sinners. Playing god every day ‘cause someones gotta do it. Why not me? it can't be that hard. perform a couple miracles, they'll like that. then the voices grew too loud "gotta do something about this, it's every fuckin’ night with these guys" he floods the earth. "maybe if they weren't so damn rude. maybe if they weren't so fucking loud. showed some compassion once in a while.” it's all the same, they kill, destroy, it's not enough. "maybe next time i'll make them mute. kind of thinking I need a break. I'll come back in a millennia, I'll set those little fuckers straight" now they're tracing and counting lines on their hands hoping to discover superstition that they can believe. I've been god… ain’t all that great. it's like any job and everything is always on fire.
8.
Reach me when you’ve got something better than praise. singing the song of victory, though we don't know what it means. the words are a reminder: this isn't the life we dreamed of but we don't know any different. turning despair into hope like watering dead flowers by your doorstep kickstart the engine once again, it's colder this year. still gotta pay the bills but these frail limbs can hardly move like they used to. who wouldn't want to move again? you can't change the past, and why would you want to? to relive heartbreak and make the same mistakes? It's not that i'd rather be coughing up glass, I’m still alive in ways that make the widows gasp. It's not that i'm coughing up glass, Barely alive, breathing at best. We'll scrape our shoe on the stars, (Just go on dancing with me) we’ll hang upside down from the moon, just go dancing with me like this.

Not even the knowledge of creatures on their hind legs is foolproof Begging water, begging favor They can compass the water for hidden lakes, divination, Or read tea leaves in the shape of fawns: breast bared, bound feet As though the promise of purity is enough To fill a chest empty for two years, or is it three? “Here – you can have it back if only you drink.” Between the wither and the wraith On the one hand marble stairs and on the other Well you know they seal these floors in pigs blood They said, “I bet they’ll never make it” I can’t stand to be here, but I can’t bear to leave you Courting water from salted crypts Come what may take my body out to sea And when I get there make sure There’s a place I can breathe I can take the long way home and I can bury the rest When the flood goes away.

about

"The result is a swaggering, razor-sharp collection of rock & roll-infused mathcore that falls somewhere between Every Time I Die, Refused, and The Bronx (and they just nabbed a co-sign from ETID guitarist Jordan Buckley), and if that sounds up your alley, you'll probably find that Sunflo'er do a ton of justice to that kind of stuff. It's a big step up from NO HELL, an invigorating take on a great sound, and a whole lot of fucking fun." BrooklynVegan.com

"SUNFLO’ER may tip their hats to a few bands you should have heard before, but not only do they draw from all the right places, they do so with enough variation and craft of their own to ensure that All These Darlings And Now Me never feels derivative. This is another impressive offering from a relatively hidden gem in today’s diverse hardcore scene, one that could and should mark SUNFLO’ER out as an inspiring and influential prospect of their own. Rating: 8/10" DistortedSoundMag.com

"...whereas the band’s previous output was heavily influenced by metalcore, Sunflo’ers latest perhaps doubles down on the elements that made them unique. You can still point to broader, post-southern hardcore influences like Every Time I Die and He is Legend, but all these darlings and now me breathes new life into a brand of brattiness we’ve been missing for a while." FeckingBahamas.com

"Musically, the Sunflo'ers, who have grown into a quartet, present their most reflective and mature album to date. But that doesn't mean that 'all these darlings and now me' isn't fun. Quite the contrary: the album is bursting with joy and expressive darkness as well as experimental hardcore with a strong slant towards mathcore. Think Hang The Bastard's dark hardcore, Totally Unicorn's mathcore, and Celeste's post hardcore. For almost half an hour, Sunflo'er skillfully hit the bull's eye between breakdowns and time changes. Rating: 12/15 points" BetreutesProggen.de

"On All These Darlings and Now Me, Sunflo’er combine mathcore and post-hardcore into a harsh-yet-catchy 27 minutes. Imagine a mix of Converge, Every Time I Die, KEN Mode, and Circle Takes the Square, and you’ll be on the right lines." WonderboxMetal.com
